Jason Thompson
Jason Thompson is a Principal at Edward Homes, Inc. He is responsible for site acquisition, capital raising, asset management and disposition.
Prior to joining Edward Homes, Jason was the Deputy Director of Economic & Urban Development for the City of Las Vegas. He was responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Department by working with the Director and City Manager's Office to establish and implement long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Mr. Thompson oversaw the four divisions of the department that include parking, business development, redevelopment and asset management.

Mr. Thompson also spent eight years as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations for Focus Property Group, where he was responsible for maximizing operating performance an achieving financial goals for three separate divisions of the company, including residential master planned development, senior housing and medical marijuana.
Mr. Thompson spent three years as the Vice President of Asset Management for Tower Realty & Development, LLC, a Las Vegas based commercial and real estate development company. In this position, Jason was responsible for all areas of the company's real estate development activities, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and property management.
Mr. Thompson is a former member of the Clark County Planning Commission, was involved in the UNLV MBA Alumni Association and is a former board member of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
